Autumn Holidays in Cornwall
In Cornwall the warm summer weather always hangs on for that little bit longer than the rest of the country. The seas have been warmed throughout the summer and are still great for swimming in and the hazy harvest evenings are perfect for relaxing barbecues and watching the beautiful sunsets.
We are open all year round and once the crowds of the summer have left the Cornish shores, the locals have their own festivals including the Falmouth Oyster Festival in October and numerous farmers markets selling the wonderful local produce and live music evenings.
2011 see's the first official Fal River Autumn Walking Festival which will give visitors and locals alike the perfect opportunity to explore this beautiful coastline and Estuary of Cornwall and discover ancient woodlands and interesting historic features along the way.
If a relaxing holiday is what you are after then autumn is definately the time to come down to Cornwall and enjoy the wind down after the crazy summer months.
