You don't have to go far or spend precious holiday time caught
in summer traffic to get to "the good stuff"!
Mylor is only
minutes away from Falmouth, Flushing, St Mawes, and other ports
of call by Aquacab, making getting there part of the fun. Or if
you prefer to see things at a more thoughtful pace, why not hire
a boat and creek crawl for the day?
You can visit
these harbour towns and villages with their castles, art
galleries, and museums or have lunch at any one of a number of
waterside pubs and restaurants and then walk lunch off on one
of several quiet
beaches which are best approached
by water. You also have a choice of "family" beaches.
The National Trust has a strong presence in the county and Cornwall
is renowned for its gardens. One of its finest, Trelissick, can
be seen from Mylor. Others nearby worth visiting are Trebah, Glendurgan,
the Lost Gardens of Heligan and the Eden Project.
