Cornwall is a land of
castles and monuments, ancient and modern. The twin castles
of St Mawes and Pendennis built by Henry VIII are just around
the corner. The new Maritime Museum and the Ships and Castles
Leisure Centre in Falmouth are more modern interpretations on
the theme.
Other places of interest
are the Eden Project, the Minack Theatre, the Tate St Ives,
and countless ancient stone circles, fogus, and industrial age
engine houses.
Alternatively, why not build your own castles in the air or
the sand and just enjoy the scenery?
